First of all let us understand the meaning of Tithe.
In simple terms, it’s an understanding that everything we have belongs to God. And we must set apart 10% of all you earn for charity; before you pay any bill or buy anything with the money you receive.
Even if you are not visiting temple, or orphanage that day; keep your Tithe amount in an envelope and bring it to the altar of the God asap.
You could practice the same for the food/harvest. Before we do anything with our harvest (our income) we must bring our first fruits (the Tithes) to Him.
Remember, Tithe isn’t offering, and offering isn’t Tithe.
Tithe is exactly the first 10% of all the money you receive; neither more nor less than the 10%.
When you Tithe, you acknowledge that God is first in your life. And when you practice Tithe you will experience abundance always in your life.
