Your Money Blueprint: The first influence–Verbal Programming
Think and recollect. What did you hear about money, wealth, and rich people when you were growing up?
Did you hear phrases like:
- Money is the root of all evil.
- Save your money for a rainy day.
- Rich People are greedy, criminals, filthy rich.
- You have to work hard to make money.
- Money doesn’t grow on trees.
- You can’t be rich and spiritual.
- Money doesn’t buy happiness.
- Money talks.
- The rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
- That’s not for people like us.
- Not everyone can be rich.
- There’s never enough.
- We cannot afford it
In my household, I grew up hearing that rich people’s children get spoilt. For many years, this kept me earning more than Rs. 4 lakhs per annum; till about a decade ago when I got present to this verbal programming. Now that limitation is removed forever.
Yet, I think one of the verbal programming that is still impacting my life is the pet statement of my eldest brother — समय से पहले और नसीब से ज्यादा कभी भी किसी को नहीं मिलता।
I respect my brother. He is 10 years elder to me and my source of inspiration since childhood. So in my mind, he is right!
Another programming that is still leaving me without any savings in spite of comfortable earning is a story narrated by one of my senior teacher about his life. It left a very high impact on me.
(As I am writing this I intend to release both of these programming permanently from my life.)
Wealth Principle: When the subconscious mind must choose between deeply rooted emotions and logic, emotions will always win.
I will share the story of my teacher in my future post. So be connected. Feel free to share these messages with people you really care about without any addition or deletion.
