Whenever you are doing your money affirmations — or any affirmation, for that matter — it is not uncommon to become aware of competing thoughts (objections), such as Who are you kidding? You are never going to be rich. How many times do I have to tell you? You have to have money to make money, etc., etc.

✓ When this occurs, first write the objection down.

✓ Then simply close your eyes and just release that thought and the emotions that accompany it.

Most of the time, your tendency is to resist or ignore these thoughts and feelings. But that just keeps them around even longer.

All you have to is let yourself focus more clearly on your feelings. Closing the eyes helps in this exercise. Letting be and letting go is a choice. It’s much easier than you think.

If needed ask the following questions to yourself that would assist you in release the competing thought.

1. What am I feeling right now?

2. Could I welcome and allow it?

3. Could I let it go?

4. Would I let it go?

5. When?

Just keep repeating the preceding steps as often as needed until you feel free of that particular feeling.

Visualize what you want as if you already have it. Remember to include money in your daily visualizations, seeing all your financial goals as already accomplished.

Make sure to add the kinesthetic and olfactory dimensions to your visualization. For example, feel the smooth texture of the finest silk against your skin, feel the relaxing feeling of a luxurious massage, etc.

Next, add the auditory dimensions such as the sound of surf lapping up on the beach in front of your vacation home.

Finally, remember to add in the feeling of appreciation and gratitude for already having these things.

Constantly fill your mind with images of what you want and picture yourself already having them.
