Your brain is designed to solve problems and reach goals, and that means you must give up phrases like “I can’t,” “I wish I were able to,” and “If only I could.” Those negative words dis-empower you and actually make you weaker. Affirmation of the day I am working toward fulfilling my goals every day and I easily move past those times when my expectations are not met. Napoleon Hill, the author of Think and Grow Rich once said, “You can be anything you want to be, if only you believe with sufficient conviction and act according to your faith; for whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.” That’s truly a profound statement. You see, it’s all well and good to practice positive thinking and self-motivation, but without truly believing that anything is possible, you won’t get very far. Let’s say you have been working toward a promotion for the last year or two, and you muster up the confidence to speak to the Vice President. You are confident in your ability and expect a positive outcome, only you don’t get one, and you become discouraged. Remember that, although you believed in yourself and expected a different outcome, you are no worse off the day before. You haven’t really lost anything. Being confident and expecting a positive outcome is not the same as instant gratification — if you are expecting an unequivocal yes for every question you ask, you are off target. Birthday

July 12, 2019 Today I enter into my 59th year. Leaving behind 58 year’s of life filled with love, care, togetherness and unshakable belief in God. Thank you Parvathi, Kuberan, Nisha, Amulya, all my siblings, school and college friends, staff and clients who shaped me the way I am today through your listening and belief in me and my wisdom. Today I woke up at 6 am. My today’s least body weight is 88.1 kilos. That’s 10 kilos less than last year’s body weight. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you universe for this achievement. I started the day by looking at the the pictures of Parvathi with Sonal and Dolly as small babies. That pulled me into so many good and happy memories.
